# Zapier Integration

Zapier allows you to connect Blueink with thousands of other web services without writing any code. Automated connections called **Zaps**, set up in minutes, can automate your day-to-day tasks and build workflows between apps that otherwise wouldn't be possible.

## Prerequisites

To get started with Blueink on Zapier, you will need:
1. A **Blueink Account** (any plan, including Trial).
2. A **Private API Key** from your Blueink Dashboard.
3. A **Zapier Account**.

## Connecting Blueink to Zapier

1. Log in to your [Zapier account](https://zapier.com).
2. Navigate to **My Apps** and search for "Blueink".
3. Click **Connect**.
4. A popup will appear asking for your **Private API Key**. You can find this in your Blueink Dashboard under **API > API Keys**.
5. Paste your key and click **Yes, Continue**.

## Supported Triggers

Triggers are events in Blueink that start a Zap.

- **Bundle Complete**: Fires when all signers have completed their signatures and the Bundle status changes to `co` (Completed).
- **Bundle Cancelled**: Fires when a Bundle is manually cancelled by the sender.
- **Bundle Error**: Fires if a Bundle fails during processing or delivery.

## Supported Actions

Actions are events that Zapier performs in Blueink.

- **Create Bundle**: Launch a new signature request using uploaded documents or URLs.
- **Create Bundle from Template**: Launch a new signature request using a pre-defined Document or Envelope Template.
- **Update Person**: Create a new contact or update an existing one in your Blueink contact database.

## Common Use Cases

### 1. Save Signed Documents to Cloud Storage
Automatically upload the final signed PDF to **Google Drive**, **Dropbox**, or **Box** as soon as a Bundle is completed.

### 2. Track Signature Status in a Spreadsheet
Add a new row to **Google Sheets** or **Airtable** whenever a Bundle is created, and update that row when the Bundle is completed.

### 3. Notify the Team in Slack
Send a message to a specific **Slack** channel when a high-priority contract has been signed.

### 4. Create Envelopes from Form Submissions
Trigger a new signature request in Blueink whenever a user submits a form in **Typeform**, **Google Forms**, or **Jotform**.

## Tips for Success

- **Use Test Mode**: When setting up your Zap, use `is_test: true` in the Bundle creation actions to avoid using account credits.
- **Map Fields Carefully**: When using "Create Bundle from Template", ensure you correctly map the Zapier data to the specific roles and fields defined in your Blueink template.
- **Check Task History**: If a Zap isn't firing as expected, check your Zapier Task History for detailed error messages.
